The US Voting Map displays the number of votes received by each candidate, as well as the candidate with the most votes and the winner in each state. Elections are held for federal, state, and municipal government authorities. At the federal level, the President is elected by the people of each state. Electors always vote for the popular vote of the state.

At the state level, each state has an elective governor and legislature. County, city, town, and village offices are elected at the local level. Furthermore, the United States Constitution establishes the parameters for elections in the United States. The most frequent and widely utilized voting system in the United States is first-past-the-post. The candidate with the most votes wins the election in this system. When no candidate receives the required number of votes, a two-round method is employed. In the year 2002, the instant-run-off voting system was introduced.

Individuals who were unable to vote on Election Day may still cast an absentee ballot. In the United States, voting began with paper ballots that were hand-counted. Mechanical voting machines were first utilized in the United States in the 1892 elections in Lockport, New York. Lever machines were installed in 1899, while punch card voting technology was deployed in 1960.

The DRE voting machine was created in 1970. The US vote map assists researchers in estimating future popular votes. The entire number of votes received for a candidate in the 50 states and Washington, D.C. is known as the popular vote. The popular vote is awarded to the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide. The popular vote is not utilized to elect the president or vice president of the United States. The first President of the United States was George Washington, who worked as a President from 1789 to 1797. John Adams was the second President of the United States and served as President from 1797 to 1801. He received 71 votes out of 138 votes. The runner-up party was Thomas Jefferson. From 1801 through 1809, Thomas Jefferson served as the US’s third President. He received 73 votes out of 138 votes. Aaron Burr was the runner-up. In 1804, Thomas Jefferson received 162 votes out of a total of 176.

James Madison was the fourth President of the United States, from 1809 until 1817. He received 122 out of 175 votes, and Charles Cotesworth Pinckney was runner-up. James Madison Jr. was re-elected with 128 votes out of 217, and DeWitt Clinton was the runner-up. Donald John Trump was the 45th President of the United States and worked as a President from 2017 to 2021.

He received 304 votes out of 538 total votes. The runner-up was Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. Joseph Robinette Biden is presently working as a President of the United States. He was elected with 306 votes out of 538 votes. Donald John Trump was the runner-up.
