The Geographic Map of US is known by different names. for example, it is referred to as a Physical map, Relief map, etc. the reason behind, why the map is called a geographical map is because this map shows the natural characteristics of a form of lands like mountains and plateaus, and the bodies of water like rivers, oceans, lakes, and ponds that are found in the particular areas.

The United state of America is divided into seven regions which are New England Region, Mid-Atlantic Region, Southern Region, Mid-West Region, South-West Region, Rocky Mountain, and Pacific Coastal Region, and are based on geographical or the physical characteristics that are Cultures, Politics, and History of States. These regions are split from the East to the West across the entire United States.

New England is the easternmost part of the United States region and it is the first region that goes from East to West. New England’s states are Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hemisphere, and Massachusetts, and stretches from east to the Rio Grande. The Mid-Atlantic Region is the second region of the United States. New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania are the Mid-Atlantic states of the U.S.
It is also a part of the Atlantic-Gulf Coastal Plain’s geographic location. Furthermore, the third region of the United States is Southern Region which has 14 states. These states of the USA are part of the Appalachian Highlands geographic region. Mid-West Region is to the north of the Southern Region and is the fourth region of the U.S.Geographically, the states in the Mid-West are the interior Plains and part of the Interior Highlands Regions.
There are 12 states in the Mid-West Region. Moreover, The South-West Region of the United State Of America is located directly to the west of the Southern region. Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma are the states of the South-West region.

Geographically, The Pacific Coastal Region has considered the Pacific Moutain System, which has included 3 states.

The state touches two of the Great Lakes, Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Moreover, there are about 9,000 miles of rivers, streams and canals in this region. Hudson, Oswegatchie, and Susquehanna are the largest rivers in New York.
